It's a point per reception league and a very deep 12 team league. You get 1 point for 35 return yards (We call it the Devin Hester factor) and 6 points for a return TD. 4 Points for passing TD's.

QB - Peyton Manning (No back up. I'll pick one up when his bye week comes.)

WR - Plaxico, Nate Buerrlson (Got him for the first two weeks), Javon Walker, Devin Hester, and DeSean Jackson.

RB - Addai, Selvin Young, Ricky Williams, Ahman Green, Steve Slaton, Jason Wright and Michael Bennet. (I have a lot of running backs and am hoping one or two of them break out. Slaton is Green's back up and Jason Wright is starting week one possibly ahead of an injured Jamal Lewis)

TE - Greg Olsen

You start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 WR/RB, 1 WR/TE

Starting lineup.

QB - Manning
RB - Addai and Young
WR - Nate B and Plax
WR/RB - Ricky Williams
WR/TE - Devin Hester (Because of his return ability and his starting WR spot he could rack up a lot of points. He gets 40+ catches 500 yards and 4+ TD's with his average return season and he's a top 10 receiver in our league.)

It's an interesting scoring system but the league has a bunch of Chicago people so we chose the Hester effect as part of the scoring. I have a lot of hit or miss players.

Walker - Can he return to his old form. It was a no-risk high reward pick.

Young - Will Shanahan stick with him. Certainly has the ability and if he gets most of the carries he could have a huge year.

Ricky - One of the best backs in the league if he's healthy and getting the bulk of the carries. Seems like he has earned the starting job in Miami and if he plays well he should be great.

QB: B-

I know I know. It's Peyton. Still, he is coming in dinged and in a 12-team league, one injury to him could ruin your season. You should have got a backup just in case.

RB: C

I love Addai and Selvin more than most but you have no backups after that. Ricky is your best backup and he's only supposed to get 5-10 carries a game or so.

WR: C-

Burress is nice but, once again, you don't have much beyond that. Burleson should have a nice year but Walker plays on a horrible offense, Hester does as well and those return points aren't worth that much, and DeSean Jackson is an unproven rookie.

TE: C-

Olsen is okay but on a poor offense.

Overall: C

I don't see it. I can't see Hester's return ability doing much this year and you have a lot of guys on poor offenses. Manning is carrying any hopes you have of making the playoffs on his shoulders. I know it's a 12-team league but this just doesn't seem like 12-team talent. Your backups are very weak. If everyone stays healthy, you have a chance but I just don't see that happening.

Let me say that Manning has been as reliable as Brett in his career. Ricky is expected to get between 15-20 carries in week one and word out of Miami is that if he is back to his old form he will continue to get 15-20 carries a game for the season. Not sure where you read that he is going to get 5-10 carries a game.

Hester scored 119 points last year under the current scoring system. He scored an equal amount of points as Coles, Evans, and Roy Williams last year w/o playing a lot at receiver. If Hester would have caught 45 passes for 500 yards and 5 touchdowns on top of his return points he would have scored 183 points last year which would have given him 3 fewer points than Plax.

Addai is a top 5 ranked back in fantasy. I don't like Addai but I couldn't take anyone else in that spot.

My TE is weak but I don't put much into that position. I think Young, Addai and Ricky will be very good. Ahman Green also starts and I have his back up because he is injury prone. I am hoping he gets hurt because I personally think Steve Slaton is better.

DeSean Jackson has been McNabb's favorite target in camp and games and will be starting in a passing heavy franchise.

I agree I have a lot of questions but I think I have a lot of depth, because I have a lot of starting Running Backs.

Just a few things...

Manning has been very reliable but he's never really been this hobbled going into a season either and he's getting older, as is Marvin Harrison. I think it's scary having no backup for him.

Looking at Hester's return numbers, maybe I was wrong about his ranking. I didn't realize he racked up that much yardage last season. I've never had leagues that count return yards so it isn't my specialty. Upgrade the WR ranking for sure.

I too love Addai.

Just not sold on any Houston RB this season. Green is injury prone and they are talking about a committee approach. Just an iffy situation.

Jackson has been McNabb's favorite target but I wouldn't really call them pass happy in a conventional way. Westbrook catches most of the balls in that offense. Thinking back, when is the last time a Philly WR has been a top fantasy option? Plus with the starters injured, Jackson will see a lot more coverage than normal.
